Kings XI Punjab appoints new GM


Indian Premier League franchise outfit Kings XI Punjab has roped in Chandrabhan Tiwari as its new General Manager (Marketing).

Tiwari has joined the IPL franchise from Silvol India, where he was Vice-president of sales and marketing, a media release said on Wednesday.

At KXIP he will be responsible for planning and execution of all the marketing activities and promotions at a regional, national and international level, it said.

"I really look forward to grow and cement Kings XI Punjab's leadership in the cricket domain and build a huge fan base of KXIP loyalists through various innovative promotions and initiatives intended for cricket lovers in India," Tiwari said about his new assignment.

The franchise is owned by a consortium that includes industrialists Mohit Burman and Ness Wadia and leading Bollywood actor Preity Zinta.
