Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is an entrance examination for admission in a number of professional courses like engineering, medical, pharmacy, biotechnology, veterinary etc in private/government colleges in Andhra Pradesh. EAMCET is conducted by the JawaharLal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher education(APSCHE).
For all the B.Tech/B.E. courses (except B.Tech(Biotechnology)), B.Pharma(MPC) & B.Sc (Commercial Agricultrure& Business Management (CA&BM). there is a common entrance exam consisting of questions from Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. A large number of students from across the state of Andhra Pradesh appear for EAMCET every year and the competition is quite tough.
Eligibility Criteria:
A candidate should have cleared class 12th exams with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. For engineering & Pharmacy courses candidates should be atleast 16 years of age. For other courses candidates should be between 17-25 years of age on 31st December, 2010. EAMCET is only open for the candidates belonging to Andhra Pradesh.
Application Forms for EAMCET:
Candidates can apply for EAMCET either online/offline. Offline forms will be available at designated centers as mentioned in notification. Candidates can also apply online through the website www.apeamcet.org.
Important Dates(Tentative):
• Availability of Application Form: Mid February-March End, 2010
• Last Date of Submission of completed application form: March 3rd week, 2010
• Date of EAMCET Examination: Mid May, 2010

Syllabus of Examination:
